On the program are Beethoven's dark and brooding String Quartet Op. 18, No. 4 & his wonderfully optimistic Op. 59, No. 1, which is featured on the Cypress' new 3-CD set. In addition, Cypress revisits a CSQ commission by Jeffery Cotton entitled Serenade.
