National Military Social Media Day is observed annually on November 12, the day after Veterans Day. Created in 2026 by Veteran National Social Media Awards (VNSMA), a division of the National Social Media Awards (NSMA), it encourages Americans to amplify the stories, work, and voices of military members, veterans, and their families.

The day turns gratitude into a simple act of support: find and follow veteran voices and veteran-owned businesses, share a veteran#s story, or post about someone you admire and tag them. It is a free, non-fundraising observance focused on helping veterans reach wider audiences.

Take part on social media using #AmplifyOurVets. Organizations, community groups, and veteran-owned businesses can also coordinate posts to recognize and spotlight veteran voices.
