100 Mile'R Day, observed each year on April 10 (the 100th day of the year), honors runners who complete 100-mile ultramarathons -- often called "Buckle Day," since finishers receive a commemorative belt buckle.
This day also celebrates the journey to ultra distances: from 50K to 100K and beyond, and anyone who pushes past the marathon 26.2-mile mark. It recognizes the training, lifestyle changes, and determination required to take on ultra challenges.
